RJ Barrett's carries out complex design & build projects for multi-storey, mixed use student residential buildings and large care homes across the country.

We understand the design criteria and specification requirements of these multi-occupancy buildings, which demand excellent soundproofing and low deflection limits in the steel frame. Our design engineers are skilled in the intricate detailing of the secondary steelwork required to support external brick skins and other aesthetic claddings.

Station Lane, Essex

Station Lane, Essex was a residential development of new flats next to a live railway line. RJ Barrett's was contracted to carry out the manufacture, delivery and erection of the structural steelwork. All steelwork was manufactured at our factory in Pocklington and erected by one of our in house steel erection teams.
