Our work in the retail sector ranges from designing and erecting brand new stores of all sizes but also frequently involves modifying existing structural frames to accommodate extensions. Our expertise in secondary steelwork detailing enables our steel frames to accommodate a huge range of claddings, roofs, decorative facades and architectural features.

Aldi, Keighley

Aldi Keighley is a traditional Aldi build with a trussed roof which includes 7no. trusses over 24 metres long. The contract for this development also included an additional retail unit and all steelwork was manufactured at our factory in Pocklington and erected by one of our in house steel erection teams.

Travis Perkins, Swindon

Travis Perkins, Swindon was a design and build portal frame, RJ Barrett's was contracted to carry out the full design of the steel frame, all steelwork was manufactured at our factory in Pocklington and erected by one of our in house steel erection teams.
